Hello there, and thanks for stopping by Cottage Mouse Crafts! I’m Claudia, an artist and high school art teacher living in suburban northern New Jersey.

I started this blog to combine my two favorite things — crafting, and helping others to grow in confidence as artists, and as humans overall! This space is dedicated to the “cottage industries” — things like pottery, fiber arts, candle-making, etc. — that are all parts of how we, as a species, make our spaces feel like home.

Whether you’re an accomplished artist, or an amateur DIY-crafter, my blog and I are here to inspire, motivate, and support you on your journey! I’m walking with you step-by-step (and often, making mistakes of my own!), even if all of this is brand-new to you!
